The hotel is ideally located in a quiet residential street between Victoria and Westminster, within easy walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Victoria Railway Station (Gatwick Express, Victoria, Circle and District Lines). Houses of Parliament,Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Tate Gallery.
The rooms are pleasantly furnished with light wooden furniture and pastel color schemes. They vary in size with almost half of them being medium in size, whilst the remainder are small but functional. All rooms are in good condition and are fully equipped with color television, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers. Some of the rooms have large bathrooms with bathtubs but the majority are small in size with a shower cubicle.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, but it has a breakfast room.
This is an attractive Georgian-style building.
The lobby is small in size with a wooden reception desk and pleasant portraits and plants scattered around the lobby area. There is a seating area next to the main lobby with comfortable chairs and tables.
The Hotel provides the ideal location to experience and explore many London sights.

This was my first time to stay in the Central House Hotel. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel itself could do with some serious refurbishment. The bedroom was clean and bright with tea/coffee making facilities but was a peculiar shape which meant you had to walk slightly bent so you wouldn't hit your head off the wall! Also, the bathroom was way too small. The sink was very small, the shower curtain was too short so that when you had a shower, the floor was flooded every time. The buffet breakfast was fine but the dining area was way too small and cramped. The good points are the friendly staff and the excellent location (very near to Victoria Station) and if the hotel was refurbished, it would be fine. Not sure if I'd stay there again though - I'd have to really think about that one!
