A modern, spacious lobby which houses rich cream and burgandy coloured furniture.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Crowne Plaza. The rooms were big and bright, the staff were excellent and the breakfast could not have been better. If I have reason to be in Birmingham again I will certainly be staying at the Crowne Plaza. The only downside was the hotel does not have wifi and internet access was £5 for 24 hours. I stayed in the Crowne Plaza in Santry in March and the wifi was complimentry.

We travel from Birmingham Airport to New Street Station and it was only a 5 minute walk to the Crowne Plaza. The staff were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. We had booked a double room with 2 single beds and got a lovely room with two queen size beds and tea and coffee facilities in the room with ironing board and iron. Breakfast was self service and lovely. It was only a 5 minute walk to the town centre which was great and Broad Street was also only a 5 minute walk.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel

For the room rate I can't really complain but there were a number of gripes: air con/heat unit in room wouldn't switch on; breakfast fare not particularly of a high standard and far too long waiting at check-out time to be served. Wouldn't see a Crowne Plaza as somewhere worth paying extra for in the future at home or while travelling abroad.
