Originally the city's airport building was famously thronged with Beatles fans in the 1960's - the Crowne Plaza John Lennon Aiport (formerly Liverpool Marriott Hotel South) is now one of the finest and most exciting hotels in the Northwest of England.
The rooms are all of an excellent standard as befits a hotel of this calibre. They are medium in size and in very good condition indeed. They offer ensuite bathroom, TV, Direct dial telephone, Modem point, Iron/ironing board and trouser press, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, work desk and 24-hour room service.
The Starways is a modern, warm-hued restaurant furnished with bright fabrics and dark wood. It offers an eclectic menu and views of the Mersey River and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The hotel has been tastefully converted from a 19th century listed building. It is stunning to look at inside and out, with the fabulous Grade II listed art deco architecture and very stylish contemporary surroundings.
The lobby is modern and very smart.
One of the finest hotels in the North West, the Crowne Plaza is ideal for John Lennon Airport and is only six miles from the city centre. Guests can also work out in the gym, take a dip in the indoor pool, or unwind in the sauna and hot tub. There is also a free airport shuttle service.
Triple Room is Double/Twin + Sofa Bed

found the room to be very clean and nicely made up bed was extremely comfortable 10/010. food at the bar was lovely and reasonably priced. One downside was £16 each for breakfast is way overpriced and not recomended. would stay again as overall hotel is very good and convenient for airport

The staff were extremly helpful, I had a puncture on my car, I asked if they could let me know where i could get it repaired, I was give the name, phone number and directions to find them, because of this help I was able to get the puncture fixed and not miss any of my appointments. I don't think I could ever say enough good things about this hotel. I love the Art-Deco feel of the building itself. The staff all seem to be just naturally and friendly and I always feel at home when staying there. The breakfast is superb; great selection and top quality. Super-comfy beds. Handy for the airport and a short spin on the bus (86A or 82)brings you to South Parkway rail station from where you can get to the city centre very quickly. Possibly my favourite hotel!
