The hotel is situated just five minutes walk from Marble Arch underground station and two minutes from Oxford Street, perfect for both shopping and sightseeing.
The rooms are medium in size and in very good condition, decorated in elegant, neutral colours and traditionally furnished. All the rooms were totally refurbished recently, and the grey marble bathrooms are also in very good condition. The hotel does have eight rooms on the lower ground floor which are much larger than the standard rooms and have been similarly refurbished.
The Modern Indian restaurant is located on the ground floor and is very fashionable and trendy. It serves the very best contemporary Indian Cuisine.
Originally built as a private residence for Lady Black, lady-in-waiting to the court of George II. This is a unique period hotel with an attractive red brick facade.
The medium lobby is traditional in decor with a marble floor.
This is a very pleasant hotel set in the heart of London. (02/08 RPL)

We visited the Mostyn in London to take in a show in the West End in London plus some shopping in January. We found the hotel's location excellent for location only a minute away from Marble Arch Tubestation for connecting to the rest of London. Shopping was about 30 seconds away on Oxford Street so fantastic for location. The hotel itself was really well run effecient, pleasant staff, always willing and ready to help with any questions. We ate in the restaurant downstairs and found the food of excellent quality and very reasonable for a hotel restaurant of this quality. The room was well laid out providing us with all we needed and very clean and quality appliances flatscreen TV,Ironing board, hairdryer,Tea making facilities etc. The next time we visit we will only consider this hotel for residing in.
