I always enjoy staying in any City Inn hotel. Rooms are very good, spacious and spotlessly clean. Imac in the room, which I found hard to get to grips with at first, but is brilliant now. The location of this particular City Inn in Manchester is perfect! Right across the way from Manchester Piccadilly, so it takes away all that stress of walking for ages or having to get taxis etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our meal that evening, which was all sorted out with complimentary drinks for us and a lovely surprise when we got to the City Inn Birmingham the following night - a bottle of wine, water and fruit left in the room with a handwritten note from the Manager. You can't get much better customer service than that! Also breakfast is fab - a great selection, fresh fruits, fresh juices, any cooked breakfast you could want. In fact breakfast in City Inn hotels are the best I've had ever in any hotel. Please stay here - you'll love it!
