Unfortunatley we probably picked the wrong time to stay in this hotel. I was in a group of 4 adults and 1 child. We only stayed for one night. On arrival we were told that the car parking was full (there are only 38 spaces) and that we would have to pay 9 Euro to park 3 blocks away. There was a wedding on the night that we stayed so we eventually got to sleep at 5.30am. There were apparently security on at night but they didn't stop the shouting and roaring that went on until the early hours. That coupled with the police and ambulance sirens which I can only presume are typical of a Saturday night in Swansea centre meant that we were even more exhausted leaving than we were arriving. We booked this hotel mainly because it had a swimming pool and this was out of action for a few days. Overall the rooms were very nice but make sure that you're not put into the rooms opposite the lifts. I would only go back there if it was mid-week because maybe then you would be sure to get some sleep.

On first impressions we were very pleased with our room on the 4th floor. It smelt clean and was in good order. There was hairs in the bathroom and under my pillow. At 5am, due to the adjoining door and revellers in the next room, I phoned reception to complain about the noise. My mother thought there was a TV left on it was so loud! After a further call and complaint the noise subsided. The following day I asked to be moved! This was done quickly and with hardly any inconvenience to ourselves. We were re roomed in our absence on the 7th floor, with beautiful views, and and a really really clean room.
I was impressed by the speed that this was done. The gym and pool were excellent too and the food in the Brasserie. I found the breakfast staff very attentive and all staff helped to make our stay a very happy one, being very professional and courteous. I will look forward to staying again!
