The Fernhill Hotel is located centrally within the town of Portpatrick. It is situated right beside the golf course
Fernhill offer a variety of hotel rooms to suit different needs for your stay in the Stranraer area of Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. Of the 36 bedrooms, 27 are within the main Victorian hotel and accommodation wing. The remaining nine hotel rooms are split between the Stables House and Gardens House. Most hotel rooms have sea views and all have television, bath robes, trouser press, room service, tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary mineral water. Lower-level rooms in the accommodation wing have the added attraction of their own balconies set into the garden. There is one fully-adapted room suitable for disabled guests with its own designated parking space close to an access ramp. Next to the main hotel, the Gardens House, with a sunny entrance porch and four twin rooms, lends itself particularly well to golfing groups of up to eight. Our separate Stables House has a four-poster suite with adjoining lounge, a double room with large bathroom and spa bath and a family twin room with adjoining single.
