I recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at knightsbrook it was as expected a real treat to stay overnight . The decor in the room is second to none I have been lucky enough to have stayed in some of the best hotels in the states and this was every bit as good if not better , the attention to detail was excellent . The staff on the day made the wedding very special for the couple involved as it did for all who attended on the day. I would love to stay at knightsbrook for a an extended stay to use the leisure facilities and dine in the excellent restaurants it would be a great pleasure to spend more time there . I highly recommend this hotel , it's not too far from Dublin yet far enough to feel you have been away. Top marks to this establishment ,continued success just keep doing what your doing its working.
It has been over a year since I last stayed at the Knightsbrook and yet the receptionist remembered me from then; I'm glad to say it was a positive recollection. Along with her colleague on the desk, this contributed to a warm friendly welcome with some light banter. It's a grand hotel servicing golfing clientele, conference attendees and travellers alike yet a warm and friendly welcome is extended to all. Very much the feel of a family run business; warm, friendly, relaxed and welcoming.
The rooms are also well furnished, warm, airly, fresh and inviting. For me on a business trip the only downside is the lack of wifi access in the rooms. If however this was non work related travel then this would be a welcome plus.
The hotel is clean and modern. The room was well kept but felt more basic than it was. This seemed to be a common theme to the hotel, it was pleasant but lacked character. I think Knightsbrook might look at what could make it unique and bring that to life throughout the hotel.
