This charming property is located in Ballsbridge, one of the most exclusive suburbs in the city. St. Stephens Green can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes. This is a charming part of Georgian Dublin, located next to the British and American embassies.
The high Georgian ceilings and windows create a spacious, bright and airy feel to the rooms. Rooms are decorated in a traditional style and are in good condition. Rooms vary in size due to the historical nature of the building.
The hotel has a delightful breakfast room on the ground floor, but does not serve lunch or dinner.
This is a a yellow Georgian building, with traditional style windows and steps leading to the entrance.
The lobby is small in size and very elegantly, traditionally and tastefully furnished.
This is a really pleasant hotel with a "home away from home" feel, and a good location close to the centre of Dublin. The RDS exhibition halls and Lansdwone Road are just a couple of minutes walk away. (NN10/08))

I really enjoyed my stay at Pembroke Townhouse Hotel this week. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are comfortable, the bed particularly so. A good night's sleep, even in a room that faced the street. Free car parking is a great feature in the city, and the wifi is fast and free. Breakfast is another highlight. I plan to return frequently.

Was a lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Only problem was ...
For us the most important thing about this accommodation was the location. We had a party to attend on St. Stephen's Green and the following morning I had to sit an exam in the RDS. Both were in walking distance, 15 minutes and 10 respectively. It was also a building full of character, more than a B&B, and not as impersonal as a hotel, somewhere nicely in the middle. The room was a little small, but I guess you don't spend much time there. The breakfast room was beautifully presented and the buffet was extensive. There was also a lovely sitting room to rest a while after coming in or before going out. We recommended the Townhouse to some friends while at the party, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in this part of the city.
