For upmarket dining, The Olive Tree Restaurant Tallaght provides seasonal local ingredients and classic dishes in intimate surroundings. Offering both table d?hote and a la carte menus with a mediterranean and contemporary twist.
The hotel was completed in late 1999, and is very modern in design. It has a large glass and steel entrance making it very striking to view.
The lobby is very large and spacious, with a few leather armchairs. It is circular, extremely modern and has white and gold décor.
This is a modern, excellent four-star property and utterly superb value. As it is located in a business area, it generally has plenty of rooms available for leisure travellers over the weekend, when the central hotels are full. The LUAS system also ensures the city centre is within very easy reach. (GW 08/2012)

Very nice hotel, which is very convenient to the M50 and the LUAS. Reception staff are friendly and interested in guests. Underground parking very useful. Very close to shops, restaurants etc. Easy to find.
A very enjoyable stay. I have stayed in the Plaza a few times, and it always delivers. The only small thing was that when we went down to Grumpys to have a drink, the six of us ended up squashed around a small table as most of the available tables were reserved. I know pubs are busy places especially coming up to Christmas, and I could accept that but it is unrealistic to reserve most of the space in the bar and expect visitors to fit as well. Anyway as I said a minor thing, I will be staying here again as it always clean, staff are friendly and it is a handy base for visiting the city.

Very convenient and good value. My only quibble would be that the tea for breakfast is in the flask. I like weak tea and would prefer either teabags and boiling water or a fresh pot of tea. I don't like the tea in the flask as it is always too strong.
