The hotel is in the centre of Ennis town, next to the ruins of the old Friary. The hotel is just 15 kms from Shannon airport and close to Limerick.
The rooms are medium in size and in good condition, as are the bathrooms.
The Cafe Bar and Bistro offers both traditional and European cuisine in a relaxed setting.
Traditional town house, the Queen's has been operating as a hotel since the start of the nineteenth century.
The lobby is small and traditional.
The hotel also has its own night club for a small admission, whilst Cruise's Bar and Restaurant offers traditional music seven nights a week, please be advised guests may incur some noise disturbance. (rt05.08)

There was no hotel free parking, when we used the shower on sat 23rd, at approx 6pm there was no hot water. Shower rail was brown with rust, soap dispenser didn't work in shower and was dirty. Carpets looked dirty and when we had shower on sun 24th at 12pm before checkout, again no hot water!!!! So cold couldn't shower either days.

Room too dear for the Hotel €78 room only, carpets serioursly need to be torn up and replaced in some places they were ripped and did not match in some areas. No valance on the bed horrible base of bed could be seen (very off putting as it looked dirty) Bathroom clean but shower needed to be cleaned with new sealent as it was all black and mouldy (yuck). Basically its the location that allows it to charge the price. Reception Staff very frienly security on door also very good. Stayed in other hotels a bit further out in Ennis for cheaper and way nicer decor if the taxi fare was added in the price would be the same so might be a better option.
We stayed in the Queens Hotel in Ennis for just one night and we were in Ennis mainly to enjoy a social night out. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Ennis. There is a night club with the hotel and the receptionist warned us of this as we were checking in. The recetionist was very helpful and the hotel itself has some character. Our room was right above the night club but as we were there to enjoy the night life it didn't bother us. The room was nice, there was a double and single in the room and it was clean. The breakfast was mostly self service and was good. There is no parking available at the hotel but a voucher can be obtained for the public parking just across the road. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a good night out.
