1.Arrived tired/frustrated after a long day. Appeared to be some mix-up with booking. Check desk did not appear to be able to sort. After a time another staff member did sort.
2. Booked twin room , allocated double room. This was reported and sorted right away.
3. Next day, asked for directions to 'Park and Ride' and given 'Go out, turn right, then right again then right again'.?? Some directions!!
4. Asked for some selotape -to parcel a gift for a friend! After 20 minutes and rather boorish interuption by another guest(?) we gave up in frustration. Manager later sorted for us.
5.Saturday night asked for a wake-up call for 7.30 Sunday morning. Call arrived at 7.50!
All in all minor gripes that should not have arisen but did. They did not take away from the friendlieness of staff but irritated!!
Main gripe is that the reception staff appeared to be trainees and it is unfair to expect them to be able to cope under pressure.
