The spaciously appointed en suite bedrooms are stylishly decorated with fine furnishing. They all come with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer as well as a double bed with goose-down duvets and pillows. They are also equipped with interactive TV, a trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, a telephone and complimentary WIFI Internet access and are centrally heated. Deluxe castle view bedrooms are also available for a small upgrade fee.
Golf fanatics will find a great selection of top courses nearby such as Gowran Park, Mount Juliet or Kilkenny Golf Club.

This hotel is nestled in a private courtyard, resting serenely on the banks of the River Nore. Kilkenny city centre is just 50 m from the hotel doorstep and guests will find restaurants, bars and pubs in the immediate vicinity. There are shopping venues and nightspots just 500 m from the property and it is also 500 m to the city's bus and train stations and to Kilkenny castle park. Castlecomer Lake is around 19 km away, as is the Oak Park Forest and it is a 50-minute drive to Waterford. It is just over an hour's drive to the beach at Tramore and the hotel lies approximately 30 minutes from Waterford Airport (55 km) and approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Dublin Airport (105 km).
*How To Get There*
Guests coming from Dublin Airport by car should follow the signs for the M50 motorway heading southbound. From the M50, take the M7, driving in the direction of Waterford, Limerick. Take the N9 towards Carlow, Kilkenny and Waterford. At Paulstown, take the N10, which leads straight into Kilkenny (journey time approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). On arrival in Kilkenny, follow the signs for the city centre. Using the castle as a landmark, the hotel is directly across the river from the castle (less than 10 minutes walking distance from the actual castle). McCourts Bar is to the front on the main street (John Street). Two archways lead into the car park. This is the main and only entrance. Matt the Millars Pub is located directly across the road from the hotel entrance.

We stayed on a Wednesday night and had a lovely experience at the hotel. Staff were very friendly, our room was very nice - spacious, all the facilities we needed were in the room. Great location for staying in the City. Delicious breakfast. Looking forward to our next stay there.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel views of river were amazing. Room was lovely. Hotel is clean and has a central location. Only thing you had to pay for hotel carpark. I have never paid for hotel carpark before.
