While the Station House saw its last train in the early sixties, it still retains much of its railway history and atmosphere. Some of the accommodation is located in the old carriage house, and the signal box is the bridal suite; the station itself hosts diners in the station master's office. The bedrooms are comfortably appointed, and the lounge areas are very relaxing. Set in attractively landscaped gardens and woodlands, this is a popular wedding venue. Dinner is always a highlight, featuring well-sourced ingredients cooked with both flair and care.
