Overlooking trendy Grand Canal Square and the Docklands, the central location means that you can enjoy all the perks of a luxury hotel, yet never be too far from the best-loved landmarks and attractions Dublin has to offer. Experience the exhilaration of a live rugby match at the Aviva Stadium, meander along the canal and immerse yourself in historic Dublin or check out who?s playing a gig at the O2. The hotel is adjacent to the very popular Bord Gais Theatre, and opposite the IFSC over the River Liffey (Dublin's key business and financial district). It is only 25 minutes from Dublin Airport and superbly served by all Dublin?s main public transport systems with the LUAS stopping at Grand Canal station.
Superior rooms have striking floor to ceiling windows, allowing natural light to flood in. The rooms are generously sized with simple, contemporary furnishings sourced from Irish designers. Bathrooms are finished in luxurious cool white Italian Carrara and Black Nero Marquina marble, complimenting the pristine Villeroy and Boch sinks and indulgent rainforest showers. Amenities include Air Conditioning, Desk with Philippe Stark Flos D'E lamp with iPod dock and Eames style Task chair, Fully stocked minibar, WiFi (Complimentary), 32 inch HD LED TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities and most have separate baths. The Marker takes a simple honest approach to food and drink. This philosophy runs through each of the dining and entertaining spaces. The Brasserie has a sharp focus on Irish, locally sourced produce. Given the hotels proximity to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, it?s a perfect pre-theatre destination. The Marker Bar is modern, fresh and totally laid back, drawing an eclectic mix of people through its doors whilst The Rooftop Lounge takes lounging to a new level. Chilled out in the true sense of the word, with breathtaking views of the cityscape.
Exceedingly unique exterior featuring what looks like black and white cubes. The architecture draws on the elemental nature of the Irish landscape and combines it with a sleek urban aesthetic, creating an experience that is distinctly Irish and truly inimitable.
Large and modern - an impressive space befitting this superb new hotel.
Extraordinary, surprising and luxurious, the Marker Hotel is a great new addition to Dublin and the perfect urban retreat for those who crave the unconventional, yet still expect the exceptional standards of service that are the signature of a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Rising up from the rich urban heartland of the Dublin Docklands, the hotel slots seamlessly into one of the most vibrant cultural hubs of Dublin City. The rooftop Garden/Lounge will be an instant hit with locals and the wellness spa boasts a stunning infinity pool - a genuine sanctuary for our guests and a rare find in such a central city location. Car Parking is available underground at a charge locally of EUR 24 per night. (GW 03/2013)

Beautiful hotel, in a quieter and more modern part of Dublin. The service we received during our stay was excellent and we couldn't fault anything with the hotel itself. We will most certainly be back.
One issue I would have is with parking. The rates in the two car parks (including the Marker's own car park) are far too high. When you consider that a similar five star hotel in Galway City has free underground parking it feels like we have received less value in comparison.

Beautiful hotel, but.....the hotel has 180 rooms and 30 parking spaces!! we were not aware thet you have to book parking in advance. There is a Q-Park around the corner from the hotel (with an over night rate €15). It was full also with a show in the Bord Gas Theatre. Robert (front of house) looked after us so well and found us parking. The rooms and service are fantastic. The rooftop bar is very impressive. Breakfast is served until 11am Sunday's. We had breakfast at 10am and the hot buffet breakfast was very disappointing. Food only warm and overcooked or left there a while. When we were seated we were not told that we could have special orders from the kitchen. The Marker hotel is very nice but not 5 star.

Fabulous hotel in a great location in the city with some nice cafe's and bars close at hand. Brilliant location if your going to the Bord Gais Theatre which is right beside the hotel, The O2 for concerts is just 10 minute walk and the Aviva about 15 mins away. The hotel rooftop bar gives specticular views of Dublin and is a nice experience, hotel breakfast was better than usual hotels I've used in Dublin. The room was quiet and bed very comfortable so if sleep is important to you I recommend this hotel!
One thing to note you must book a carpark space with the hotel before arriving and be sure to get email conformation from them.

We really enjoyed our stay which consisted of two nights.
Hotel was located virtually next door to An Bord Gais theatre, where we attended Heartbeat of Home! Our room was spotless, bright and airy.
all staff were extremely polite and genuinely helpful.
I happened to drive over a traffic cone on the pavement outside the premises.
immediately, the concierge was over and got the jack out and lifted the car-no problem!
We were really impressed.
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in -anywhere- in a long time.
