Located in the rural community of Riasc, in heart of the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht (Irish speaking area) of West Kerry, Tig Bhric provides visitors and locals alike with a wide range of services. From select accommodation to fine food, traditional and contemporary music, general groceries and a unique bar with an emphasis on the arts, customers are offered a service in a unique and original setting. Set in the middle of some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland, visitors are afforded the opportunity to experience both the landscape, local culture and the numerous activities available within a short distance of our establishment. Both Adrienne Heslin and Paul Lynch, the proprietors, look forward to welcoming you and making your stay with us a memorable one.
The Bed & Breakfast has 4 double/twin bedrooms, all en suite. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a rustic style and equipped with all mod cons like tvs and tea & coffee making facilities. There is also a separate breakfast room and living area with an open fire.
Whether your preference is for a frothy cappuccino in front of our open fire or a hearty bowl of our homemade chowder after a refreshing walk along the beach, Tig Bhric provides a relaxing and homely welcome for all visitors to its bar. When Tig Bhric was being rebuilt in 1999 the essence of the celebrated original pub and grocery formed the central theme to the new design. This is reflected in both the layout and the ambience of the new establishment which now includes a high quality food service, a generous beer garden and a newly constructed area for those who smoke. Regular music sessions and a continuous display of arts and crafts add to what we like to think of as a unique an original bar.
